Docucity. Documenting the Metropolis

This section contains information and details on Docucity. Documentare la città, a project on documentary filmmaking on the contemporary metropolis.

The project was born in 2006, within the Degree Course in Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication and in collaboration with CTU.

Docucity has produced:

• a film archive
• several Festival editions
• some relevant collaborations with other Festivals (Milano Film Festival, Souq Film Festival) and related initiatives.

We developed a collaboration with the Ufficio Reti e Cooperazione Internazionale of the Municipality of Milan, for the events of Milano Città Mondo (6 editions). The film archive and further details on Docucity‘s history before 2021 are available here: https://docucity.unimi.it/
