holds a Ph.D. in Literature and Intercultural Studies from the University of Milan and currently works as a junior post-doc follow at the Univerisity of Eastern Piedmont. She has also worked as an ESL teacher in Italian secondary schools. Her research interests include the representation of youth and of pivotal historical events in the Irish periodical press as well as the cultural-political relationships between Italy and Ireland in the early twentieth century. She has published widely on these topics: among her recent publication, the monograph Birth of an Independent Ireland (LCM-The Series, 2020).
