holds a PhD in English Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Milan, where he is currently working as Assistant Professor in British Cultural Studies and English Culture at the faculty of Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale. His research interests are focused on London urban geographies and representations of violent/anarchic/terrorist attacks and disasters under a culturalist approach. He has published essays about Chris Cleave, John Agard, Ian McEwan, Joseph Conrad and has recently published Anarchici (su carta) Il Libraccio Editore (2014). He is editor-in-chief of the online journal Altre Modernità and works as a TEFL and Brit Lit teacher in an Italian secondary school.
