The online conference titled “Raccontare il reale. Narrazione, ricerca e didattica con il cinema documentario” was held on 13 and 14 May. Teachers, experts, and filmmakers discussed the many potentials of the cinema of reality in two webinars.
The conference was dedicated to film director Valentina Zucco Pedicini, who with her debut work, the documentary My Marlboro City, won the Jury Prize of the 2011 Docucity Festival with a unanimous decision. The volume Nostalgie urbane (editpress), edited by Docucity / Documentare la città has been re-issued for the occasion. The two webinars have been recorded and you can freely access the videos here.
